“The Vintner’s Luck” is Gaspard’s latest English-language project. It was directed by Niki Caro and premiered in the 2009 Toronto Film Festival to great reviews. Although the film doesn’t live up to the book, I think Gaspard played the angel Xas magnificently and is definitely one of my favorite projects of his so if you haven’t seen it, I absolutely recommend that you do! I have added blu-ray screencaptures to the gallery, enjoy!

‘Hannibal Rising’ Screencaptures

Hey everyone, I have added over 1500 screencaptures of the 2007′s production, “Hannibal Rising” in which Gaspard starred as the young version of the popular villain Hannibal Lecter. Enjoy these in all their bluray glory!

L’Inconnu

Back in 2007, Gaspard was part of a short film by Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux named “L’Inconnu” which was only shown at a handful of film festivals.

Synopsis:

Yvan is forty years old. His existence veers in a whole new direction the day he encounters a young stranger who has had a fatal fall into his house’s yard. Yvan lives alone in the country and finds himself with a man’s corpse, about whom he knows absolutely nothing. Overcome by events, he starts to accumulate a series of incoherent, irrational actions until the situation slowly becomes irreversible.

I have added the screencaptures of Gaspard in the 2009 production “Un Barrage Contre Le Pacifique” in which he stars alongside the amazing Isabelle Huppert and the lovely Astrid Bergès-Frisbey.

New Project: ‘Tu Honoreras Ta Mère’

Great news everyone! According to Relax News, Gaspard has been cast in a new project named “Tu Honoreras Ta Mère”. The film which will be directed by Brigitte Rouan will star Nicole Garcia who has already worked with Gaspard in “Le Dernier Jour”. The film tells the adventures of a mother and her sons in Greece (Gaspard will play one of the sons). Filming will start at the end of the summer. Sounds exciting!

‘The Princess of Montpensier’ Interview

“La Princesse de Montpensier” was released on DVD and Bluray this week and I managed to get a copy and screencap it for the site in glorious high quality. I quite enjoyed the film so I totally recommend that you buy it if you have the chance (you can do so in Amazon.fr here) but for now, enjoy the pictures!

Gaspard as the angel

*The Vintner’s Luck has hit the screens in Japan last weekend and Gaspard as the angel is featured in several media (incl. this). The video above is his special interview about the angel and its beautiful wings (in English, with Japanese subs).

*During the latter half of October, Gaspard has been busy presenting his upcoming movie ’La Princesse de Montpensier，’　in Bordeaux on 18th, Toulouse 19th, Lyon 20th (Watch this video), Dijon 21st (Watch these! 1, 2), and even on the Canal+ TV show ‘La quotidienne cinema’ aired on 29th. The film will be on the screens nationwide in France on November 3rd.
