Here’s the first look at Gaspard as french designer Yves Saint Laurent in Bertrand Bonello’s biopic. It has also been revealed that Jeremie Renier will play the part of Saint Laurent’s lifetime partner and business associate Pierre Berge and as most of you must know, it is not the first time they work together as they both starred in ‘The Vintner’s Luck’ back in 2009.

Gaspard has been cast as the designer Yves Saint Laurent in a biopic which will be directed by Bertrand Bonello and will start production this spring! Exciting news!
The French actor Gaspard Ulliel will play the designer in French director Bertrand Bonello’s forthcoming biopic, after a “huge audition [process].” The film, first announced this past Cannes, will go into production next spring. Though a script and screenplay have yet to be formalized, the focus will be Saint Laurent’s design heyday from the mid-sixties through 1976′s seminal Russian collection. No word yet if Hedi Slimane will cameo.
“The Vintner’s Luck” is Gaspard’s latest English-language project. It was directed by Niki Caro and premiered in the 2009 Toronto Film Festival to great reviews. Although the film doesn’t live up to the book, I think Gaspard played the angel Xas magnificently and is definitely one of my favorite projects of his so if you haven’t seen it, I absolutely recommend that you do! I have added blu-ray screencaptures to the gallery, enjoy!

Hey everyone, I have added over 1500 screencaptures of the 2007′s production, “Hannibal Rising” in which Gaspard starred as the young version of the popular villain Hannibal Lecter. Enjoy these in all their bluray glory!
Please be warned before proceeding to the gallery that given the nature of the film the album contains some grisly violent content and spoilers.

Back in 2007, Gaspard was part of a short film by Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux named “L’Inconnu” which was only shown at a handful of film festivals.
Synopsis:
Yvan is forty years old. His existence veers in a whole new direction the day he encounters a young stranger who has had a fatal fall into his house’s yard. Yvan lives alone in the country and finds himself with a man’s corpse, about whom he knows absolutely nothing. Overcome by events, he starts to accumulate a series of incoherent, irrational actions until the situation slowly becomes irreversible.
